BEN KNIGHT

Professional Experience :
Ben Knight, born and educated in England, spent over 30 years with The Coca-Cola Company around the world. He is overseeing the International operations of Carew International.
He joined Coke in London as Sales Director for Great Britain in 1973. In 1984 he directed sales to European and USA companies from London. In 1986 he moved to Atlanta USA to manage sales to global companies in Asia.
In 1991 he was appointed Vice President, Customer Marketing based in Tokyo to set up sales organizations across 62 countries from Morocco through to New Zealand including the Middle East, India, Philippines, Indonesia, China and Australia. During this time he lived in Hong Kong, Singapore and returned to Japan in 1999 to manage Coca-Cola Bottler operations and sales.
Ben was, during his Coca-cola assignment, exposed to the power of Carew’s flagship program called DPS, ‘Dimensions of Professional Selling’. Coca-cola used DPS extensively across many parts of the world with great success. He left in 2004 to set up his own consultancy. He remembers fondly training the Coke India team in DPS, as it was held in Jim Corbet game reserve.
Ben introduced DPS to Asia and he has been teaching the programme since 1987.
